According to an embodiment of the present invention, an instant trip apparatus of a small circuit breaker comprises: a fixed contactor connected to a terminal unit on one side; a movable contactor which is connected to a terminal unit on the other side, and comes in contact with the fixed contactor or separates from the fixed contactor to allow a circuit to conduct electricity or block a current flow through the circuit; and an opening and closing mechanism unit to move the movable contactor. The instant trip apparatus of a small circuit breaker further comprises: a trip bar connected to the opening and closing mechanism unit to restrict or allow a movement of the opening and closing mechanism unit; bimetal mounted on the movable contactor to be curved if an overload current flows through the circuit; a magnet provided with a support unit and a wing unit bent backwards from the upper end of the support unit, and mounted on an upper portion of the bimetal; and an armature installed and fixed on the trip bar to drive the trip bar while being pulled by the magnet by a magnetic force created when a current flows through the bimetal. |
