<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping device and an outdoor working machine, capable of obtaining the vibration damping effect in the vertical direction in a wide frequency band. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration damping device 10 for controlling the vibration of an object (a counterweight 7), includes a main mass 20 having a predetermined mass, a main spring 30 for connecting the main mass 20 to the object (the counterweight 7), a sub mass 50 having a mass smaller than that of the main mass 20, and a sub spring 60 for connecting the sub mass 50 to the main mass 20. A main mass accommodation recess 21 for accommodating the sub mass 50 is formed in the main mass 20, and the main mass 20 and the sub mass 50 are vibrated in the vertical direction, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
