摘要 The present invention relates to a device and a method to measure a concentration using absorption photometry. The device to measure the concentration using absorption photometry comprises: a specimen storage tank storing a concentration measurement target specimen; a light source radiating light to the specimen storage tank; an optical sensor installed in an opposite side to the light source across the specimen storage tank, absorbing absorbance by absorbing the light penetrating the specimen storage tank by being radiated from the light source; and a control unit saturating the optical sensor by controlling a strength of the light source in order for an absorbance measurement value of the optical sensor to be in a same level as an absorbance value on distilled water, and calculating a concentration of the specimen by comparing the absorbance measurement value of the optical sensor, on the specimen in which a spray reagent is added, to a reference value. After the optical sensor is saturated as the brightness of the light source is controlled in accordance with turbidity of the specimen, the measurement value of the optical sensor is compared with the preset reference value; thus the device to measure concentration using absorption photometry is able to measure an accurate concentration of the specimen without being influenced by turbidity.
