The present invention relates to an apparatus for attaching a subsidiary material which can use both a subsidiary material provided in an unpunched base material state and a subsidiary material attached to a carrier tape after punched. According to the present invention, the apparatus for attaching a subsidiary material comprises: a subsidiary material supply unit to selectively mount a subsidiary base material or a carrier tape to which a subsidiary material is affixed to supply the subsidiary base material or the carrier tape; a support base unit having a support base installed on a transport path of the subsidiary base material or the carrier tape; a punching unit detachably installed on the support base to punch a subsidiary material off the subsidiary base material; a subsidiary material separation unit having a separation table detachably installed on the support base, on which the carrier tape is placed to separate the subsidiary material from the carrier tape; an attaching table to accommodate a circuit board to which the subsidiary material is to be attached; an attaching head arranged on an upper side of the support base to pick up the subsidiary material punched by the punching unit or the subsidiary material from the carrier tape on the subsidiary material separation unit; and an attaching head transport unit to transport the attaching head to move the subsidiary material picked up by the attaching head to the circuit board placed on the attaching table to attach the subsidiary material to the circuit board. |
