PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment apparatus and work holding jig which improve the structure of a carrying jig carried along a rail arranged out of the above of a surface treatment vessel and can support the carrying jig very stably.SOLUTION: A surface treatment apparatus includes a surface treatment vessel 200 which stores a treatment liquid and has an upper-end opening, first and second guide rails 130 and 140 which are arranged out of the above of the upper-end opening of the surface treatment vessel and extend along a first direction C in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the surface treatment vessel and carrying jigs 30 which are arranged in the treatment liquid of the surface treatment vessel to hold workpieces individually and supported on the first and second guide rails. The carrying jig includes a horizontal arm part 300 extending along a second direction B, a first to-be-guided part 310 which is supported on one end side of the horizontal arm part and guided by the first guide rail, a second to-be-guided part 320 which is supported on the other end side of the horizontal arm part and a vertical arm part 330 which is hung from the horizontal arm part at a position between the first and second to-be-guided parts and holds a workpiece. |
