A method for forming a sheet surface of an engine exhaust valve is disclosed. According to the present invention, the method for forming a sheet surface of an engine exhaust valve enables a groove portion of an exhaust valve where a sheet surface is formed and a welding material to come in contact with each other while the exhaust valve and the welding material are supported and enables the exhaust valve to be rotated to heat the groove portion of the exhaust valve and the welding material at a predetermined temperature using frictional heat and pressurizes the exhaust valve toward the welding material to form the sheet surface. Then, the sheet surface is evenly fused relative to the exhaust valve to improve reliability of the exhaust valve.
