An entertainment device comprises a virtual reality headset (or a head mounted display) having a graphics processor arranged in operation to generate a virtual environment and a viewpoint processing means arranged in operation to set a default locus for a rendering viewpoint. A game performance information generating means generates game performance information, 1120, and a position processing means positions such information within the virtual environment at a position having a predetermined offset 1125 to a first environmental element that in turn has a predetermined fixed spatial relationship with said default locus. The aim of the application is to avoid/reduce the feelings of nausea felt by some users of a virtual reality headset cause by the need to change viewpoints to read in game information.
