A reception unit (101) receives, from a control device, safety-degree information that indicates, for each control operation, the degree of safety expected when electrical equipment is controlled remotely. A remote-control-command acceptance unit (103) accepts, from a user, a remote-control command for said electrical equipment. In response to said remote-control command being accepted, a determination unit (104) determines, on the basis of the safety-degree information, whether or not to request, from the user, a confirmation command to remotely control the electrical equipment in accordance with a control operation based on the remote-control command. If a determination to request a confirmation command is made, a confirmation-command request unit (105) requests a confirmation command from the user, and a confirmation-command acceptance unit (106) accepts said confirmation command from the user. If either a determination not to request a confirmation command is made or a confirmation command is accepted, a transmission unit (107) transmits, to the control device, a control signal based on the abovementioned remote-control command. |
