The present invention relates to a chair for protecting the vertebral column. According to the present invention, the chair for protecting the vertebral column comprises: a seat part (120) including a seat which generally extends in the horizontal direction; a leg part (110) for supporting the seat part under the seat part; and an upper body support (130) including a waist support part (140) for supporting the waist of a sitter. The waist support part (140) includes: a connection frame (141) combined with the seat part; a waist support frame (142) which is movable in the height direction with respect to the connection frame (141); a height adjustment means (143) for adjusting the height-direction position of the waist support frame (142) with respect to the connection frame (141); and a waist support member (149) coupled to the waist support frame (142) to come into contact with the waist of the sitter. |
