The objective of the present invention is to provide an excavator using cutters capable of improving convenience and efficiency of working in case an excavator breaks down during excavation of a tunnel, and is possible to move back and easily remove the excavator. The excavator comprises: an excavator body which includes a cylindrical body, a rotation body installed to be rotatable on a front end of the body, including a penetration hole on a center, and a hollow rotation pipe body installed in a rear end of the rotation body in one piece and connected to the penetration hole; and an excavation unit which includes a first motor installed in the rotation pipe body to rotate the rotation body in order to excavate a tunnel by the excavator body, and excavation cutters installed in different positions from each other forming a concentric circle in a circumferential direction on a front of the rotation body rotated by the first motor, rotated separately at high speeds by a second motor from the rotation body to form a groove on the excavation position, and excavating the tunnel by a low-speed rotation by the rotation body. |
