The present invention relates to a system for diagnosing a detection signal in a firefighting equipment and a method thereof. A collection part collects the detection signal generated from a detection part. If the collection part delivers data recorded according to an established sampling period and a trigger mode to a preprocessing part, the preprocessing part removes noise from the data delivered from the collection part using a Kalman filter and also estimates a detection signal pattern from an error pattern stored in a storage part in advance and then delivers the estimated detection signal pattern to a coding part. The coding part codes the detection signal pattern and delivers the coded detection signal pattern to an analysis part. Then, the analysis part judges whether the detection signal is an error signal, by comparing the coded detection signal pattern with an error pattern. According to the present invention, the system can diagnose an error of a corresponding detection signal through pattern analysis of the detection signal accurately, and thus can prevent unnecessary movement of a fire engine and unnecessary operation of a firefighting equipment.
