A stator (10) includes a stator core (12), a plurality of segment coils (30) and a stator cuff support (40). The segment coil (30) includes a plurality of conductor segments, and is fixed to the stator core (12) by a varnish. The stator cuff support (40) is arranged at one cross section of the stator core (12) in an axial direction. The stator cuff support has: an outer side ring-shaped part (41) arranged on a yoke part of the stator core; a plurality of cuff support teeth extended on a plurality of stator teeth; an inner side ring-shaped part connected to an inner end of the plurality of cuff support teeth in a diameter direction; and a cuff support slot (51). The outer side ring-shaped part or the inner side ring-shaped part has a varnish guide plane (43a) formed to approach a center in an axial direction toward the cuff support slot (51) as to the diameter direction.
