An actuator system 2 having various features is provided. The actuator system 2 may have a first and a second electrohydraulic servo valve 50, 40. A control selector 70 may connect one of the electrohydraulic servo valves 50, 40 to a cylinder 30 and may isolate the other electrohydraulic servo valve 40, 50 to ameliorate leakage in response to a switching solenoid valve 90 operating. In this manner, one electrohydraulic servo valve 50, 40 may be connected to the cylinder 30 to operate the cylinder 30, and the other electrohydraulic servo valve 40, 50 may be isolated from the cylinder 30, for example, to provide a standby electrohydraulic servo valve. |
