The invention relates to bending-angle measuring device for a bending press (1). The bending press comprises a press bed (2), a bending die (3), and a press beam (4), which can be moved in a traversing direction (7) in relation to the bending die and which has a punch (5). The punch contacts a sheet-metal part (8) arranged in the bending die (3) along a bending line (9). Furthermore, a lighting device (11) and an optical image recording device (12) are present. The lighting device (11) has a light source (16) and a collimator (17) and emits a pencil of rays (15) along a beam path in the direction of the image recording device (12). The lighting device (11) arranged at a first end (23) of the frame and the image recording device (12) are arranged in correspondence with each other on an optical axis (18) so that the beam path is oriented parallel to the bending line (9). The image recording device (12) has a telecentric optical unit (20) and a planar image sensor (25), wherein furthermore the telecentric optical unit (20) has an aperture (22) and at least one lens group (21).
