A saddle riding type vehicle (1) including handles (11), a seat (16), a fuel tank including a fuel inlet covered by a fuel cap (193), a front cover portion (171) and an arch portion (174) that covers the fuel tank from above, wherein, in a frontback direction, a distance between rear ends of the handles (11) and a front end (E1) of the seat (16) is smaller than a distance between an upper end of a rear edge (B1) of the front cover portion (171) and the rear ends (E3) of the handles (11), the arch portion (174) has a front part (174f) having an upper edge inclined backward and downward and a rear part (174r) having an upper edge inclined backward and upward in a side view and the fuel cap (193) is exposed at an upper surface of the rear part (174r) of the arch portion (174). |
