The present invention relates to a metadata input supporting system for laws, and a method for processing the same. The metadata input supporting system for laws and regulations receives metadata about law information, legal term information and task information stored in an internal database and an external database by using a communications network and individually adds metadata to law information, legal term information and task information, and registers and stores the same, wherein the metadata are encoded by each item, and classified, generated and managed. According to the present invention, as metadata are added to the law information, the legal term information and the task information, characterized law-related information can be provided, and the accuracy of search results can be provided using the metadata. In addition, content related to laws and content related to system operation and management can be separately managed, since the metadata of the law information, the legal term information and the task information are encoded, and classified, generated and managed.
