According to the present invention, a manufacturing method of a single-phase positive electrode active material for a magnesium secondary battery comprises heat treatment after molding as a pellet form so as to generate an uniform reaction between copper powder and Mo_6S_8 powder differed from the conventional method, thereby being manufactured as a single composition between CuMo_6S_8 in an activated state and Cu_2Mo_6S_8 in an inactivated state. Accordingly, a magnesium battery for applying a single-phase positive electrode active material for a magnesium secondary battery manufactured by the present invention exhibits high capacity by reducing irreversible capacity. |
