An automated cleaning system for an aircraft fuselage interior comprises a movable assembly (72) designed to fit within an aircraft fuselage interior to be cleaned. The movable assembly comprises a removable track assembly (74), an automated transport mechanism (80) mounted on the removable track assembly, a manifold and frame assembly (94) mounted on the automated transport mechanism, and a fluid dispensing assembly (130) coupled to the manifold and frame assembly for dispensing one or more fluids onto an aircraft fuselage interior surface to be cleaned. The system further comprises a fluid management system (150) coupled to the movable assembly for supplying the one or more fluids to the fluid dispensing assembly. The system further comprises a control system (200) that communicates with and controls the movable assembly and the fluid management system. |
