PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a poly(meth)acryl imide film excellent in surface smoothness, transparency and appearance and having a reduced retardation value.SOLUTION: A molten film of poly(meth)acryl imide is fed and charged to a space between a rotating or circulating first mirror surface body and a rotating or circulating second mirror surface body, and pressing is performed. At this time, the surface temperature of the first mirror face body is controlled to 100 to 200°C and the surface temperature of the second mirror surface body is controlled to 20 to 200°C, respectively. |
