Purlins 4 are attached to a beam (not shown) by means of angle brackets 2 of various heights selected according to the required slope of the roof, one end 3 of each bracket being bent and passed through an opening in a coupling member 5, a wedge 11, also passed through said opening, serving to secure the coupling member to the bracket with the purlin 4 clamped between the coupling member and bracket. At its lower end, each bracket is attached in an upwardly open slot in the beam. |
