Disclosed is a fingerprint recognition method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the fingerprint recognition method comprises the following steps of: determining a code corresponding to a query image based on characteristics of a plurality of blocks in the query image; acquiring information corresponding to the determined code from a pre-organized look-up table; and certifying the query image based on the acquired information.
