That is, according to the present invention, the method of manufacturing a double-sided USB type socket connector includes: a process (110) of forming a lower surface terminal mold by integrally insert-molding the lower surface connection terminal unit (21) with the mid plate (10); a process (120) of forming an upper surface terminal mold by integrally insert-molding an upper surface connection terminal (31); a process (130) of assembling a terminal mold by assembling an upper terminal mold unit (30) on the upper side of a lower terminal mold; and a process (140) of forming a socket mold by integrally insert-molding the upper terminal mold and the lower terminal mold which are combined. Thus, the present invention has an effect that an assembling with a lower surface terminal mold unit (20) is easy by integrating an upper surface terminal via the process (120) of forming an upper surface terminal mold by integrally molding the upper surface connection terminal (31) and effects that the durability of the plug connection unit (51) of a socket mold (50) is improved and a failure in the assembling of the upper surface terminal is prevented by manufacturing the socket mold (50) to insert the upper surface terminal via the process (140) of forming a socket mold by insert-molding the upper surface terminal mold and the lower surface terminal mold which are combined via the process (130) of assembling a terminal mold.
