The present invention relates to a universal tire pressure sensor including a housing (1) wherein an integrated circuit (sensor IC) (2) comprising a micro controller (3) and a pressure sensor (4) is accommodated. Moreover, provided are units (6, 9; 7, 10) for wireless communications which are connected to the micro controller (3) in order to transmit pressure measurement values detected by the pressure sensor (4) to a separated receiving device. The sensor IC (2) includes an internal memory, which can store executable commands and data realizing detection and transmission of the pressure measurement data during execution. A power supply device (12) is arranged in the housing (1) similarly and is connected to the sensor IC (2). In addition, the sensor IC (2) is connected to a subsidiary memory module (15) arranged in the housing (1), and a plurality of different data packets including data and commands of each of the same are stored in the memory module. The subsidiary memory module (15) can be controlled through the micro controller (3) to copy the selected data packet into the internal memory of the sensor IC, and the subsidiary memory module is connected to the micro controller of the sensor IC through a serial data interface. |
