<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite antenna with high isolation between antenna elements. <P>SOLUTION: A composite antenna comprises: two dielectric waveguides spaced apart by a predetermined distance; a substrate configured to dispose the dielectric waveguides thereon; and a conductor plate connected to the substrate. Each of the dielectric waveguides includes a slot having a dielectric body exposed at a part of a conductor film on the surface of the slot. The substrate has a via hole having substantially the same shape as the slot at a position of the substrate opposed to the slot. The conductor plate includes: a radial hole having substantially the same shape as the via hole which is disposed at a position of the conductor plate opposed to the via hole; a radial hole having substantially the same shape as the via hole which is disposed at a position of the conductor plate opposed to the via hole; and a pair of discontinous reflection parts disposed in the vicinity of the radial holes so as to be point symmetrical with respect to a center point of the radial holes. The discontinuous reflection parts are arranged by being rotated substantially 45 degrees from a longitudinal direction of the radial holes. The slot, via hole and radial holes are arranged by being rotated so that the center of the other radial hole does not lie on an extension line of the longitudinal direction of each of the radial holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
