The present invention relates to a protection device for passengers having difficulties to use transportation and a method thereof. The protection device comprises: a magnetic field output unit outputting a magnetic field to induce a somatic sense; a power supply unit generating a time-varying current and supplying the same to the magnetic field output unit; a pressure sensor installed adjacent to the magnetic field output unit; and a control unit controlling operation of the pressure sensor and the time-varying current generated by the power supply unit.
