PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that regulates meandering of a belt stably for a long period with a simple configuration at a low cost, and an image forming apparatus including the fixing device.SOLUTION: A fixing device 5 includes a meandering regulating member 45 that is disposed on both ends in an axial direction of a fixing roller 18, and regulates meandering of a belt 26 in the axial direction of the fixing roller 18. The meandering regulating member 45 has a tapered outer peripheral part 45a arranged to face an inner peripheral surface of the belt 26. The tapered outer peripheral part 45a is formed to have an outer diameter at a central part in the axial direction smaller than that of the inner peripheral surface of the belt 26, whereas to have an outer diameter on end part sides in the axial direction larger than that of the inner peripheral surface of the belt 26. |
