<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently, synchronously and systematically display audio and video information about an era within the same space. <P>SOLUTION: A method is provided with which during the movement of a walk navigation device, map information is read out and displayed on a display as a bird's eye view or a plane map, video and audio information having map coordinates around a present location is read out of a database, the video is displayed on the display and the audio information is reproduced synchronously with the video. In the video and associated audio information database, the video and audio information is stored while being classified into four-dimensional layer structures comprised of three-dimensional spaces and one-dimensional eras, and the database is reproduced while manually or automatically switching the era layers. Each time an object of each of the layers is displayed on the display. pop-up or zoom-up display is performed in the video in association with a position of corresponding coordinates of the map video.
