The solid state drive device includes a memory device including a plurality of flash memories and a memory controller connected with a host and configured to control the memory device. The memory controller includes first and second cores, a host interface configured to interface with the host, and a flash memory controller configured to control the plurality of flash memories. The first core is configured to control transmission and reception of data to and from the host. The second core is configured to control transmission and reception of data to and from the memory device.

1. A memory device configured to communicate with a host, the memory device comprising:
a buffer; a non-volatile memory device comprising a plurality of flash memories; and a memory controller configured to control the non-volatile memory device and the buffer, the memory controller comprising:
a first core configured to control temporarily storing first data and second data transmitted from the host in the buffer, and to control transmitting the temporarily stored first data to the non-volatile memory device; anda second core configured to control transmitting the temporarily stored second data to the non-volatile memory device, wherein each of the first core and the second core comprises a processor, wherein the first core and the second core are further configured to communicate with each other, and wherein the first core is configured to control transmitting the temporarily stored first data to the non-volatile memory device or temporarily storing third data transmitted from the host in the buffer in parallel with controlling, by the second core, transmitting the temporarily stored second data to the non-volatile memory device.
