<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for making both compatible in shortening a brake stopping distance on a wet road surface of a tire and other motion performance. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes: a central circumferential directional groove 2a extending by bending in a zigzag shape in the tread circumferential direction; a plurality of side circumferential directional grooves 2b arranged on both sides in the tread width direction of the central circumferential directional groove 2a and extending by bending in a zigzag shape in the tread circumferential direction; and a plurality of land parts 3 demarcated by the central circumferential directional groove 2a, the plurality of side circumferential directional grooves 2b, and tread ends, on a tread 1 of the pneumatic tire.
