<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display device that can prevent outflow of a moistureproof resin out of a substrate, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophoretic display device includes a first substrate having a first electrode, an electrophoretic layer arranged on the first substrate, a second substrate arranged on the electrophoretic layer and having a second electrode, a bank part arranged on the first substrate and surrounding the outer periphery of the electrophoretic layer with a gap between the bank part and the electrophoretic layer, and a moistureproof resin arranged at the position of the gap on the first substrate and covering the lateral face of the electrophoretic layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
