PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal for press-fitting which has high mass-productivity and is capable of attaining high contact reliability by securing stable contact with an inner peripheral surface of a through-hole, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A connector terminal 100 for press-fitting includes a contact part 20 which is formed by processing one metal plate having elasticity and in which contact pieces 211-214 in contact with the through-hole are arranged side by side in a plate width direction X. The contact part 20 includes: a contact piece 22 for the plate width direction in which contact pieces 211 and 212 in both end portions in the plate width direction X rise in a plate thickness direction Y and are expanded in the plate width direction X; and a contact piece 23 for the plate thickness direction in which contact pieces 213 and 214 held between the contact pieces 22 for the plate width direction are expanded in the plate thickness direction Y and opposite to the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole. The contact piece 22 for the plate width direction and the contact piece 23 for the plate thickness direction are formed oppositely to the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole, thereby attaining stable contact. |
