The present invention relates to a taxi fare payment system which comprises: a Wi-Fi module which is installed in a card payment device for a taxi, activates Wi-Fi of a smart phone since a passenger operates a taxi fare payment application while transmitting service basic information to a server at the same time, and transmits service fare information calculated in a taximeter to the server for a service ending time; the taxi fare payment application which is operated in the smartphone of the passenger, transmits personal information to the server when the passenger logs in to the Wi-Fi module, and paying a fare according to service confirmation information transmitted from the server; and the server which receives the personal information of the smart phone logged in the Wi-Fi and the service basic information of a taxi, and transmits the service confirmation information including a service fare to the taxi fare payment application of the smart phone and the card payment device for a taxi. Therefore, according to the present invention, since the taxi fare payment system for a smart phone pays the taxi fare through the taxi fare payment application installed in the smart phone of the passenger, reliability and convenience can be significantly improved. |
