<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an apparatus carried by a user to perform suitable calling operation. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises: a determination unit for determining calling operation corresponding to inputted information from a sensor; and a controller which controls the calling operation performed when a telephone call, an e-mail, an instant message or the like incomes to the device provided with the sensor, using the result of the determination by the determination unit.
