<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand type bell rod which attains smooth hitting action by solving the problem that a conventional stand type bell rod has a grip part and a hitting part made of wood or the like, so that repulsive force of hitting applies an impact to gripping fingers or the like and smooth hitting action is sometimes hindered at the moment of hitting. <P>SOLUTION: In the stand type bell rod, the grip part and the hitting part are connected with each other via a flexible body. By providing the flexible body for connection with the grip part, smooth hitting action is attained. When the flexible body is a cord, housing property is improved.
