<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-hop communication method, a multi-hop communication system, and a communication terminal which dispense with communication between master terminals and centralized control of a server, etc. and suppressing interference of a wireless packet by leakage power from another communication cell. <P>SOLUTION: One master terminal 1 and a plurality of slave terminals 2 construct communication cells C1, C2... for performing multi-hop communication. When the level of interference in the communication between a communication cell which the master terminal belongs to and other communication cells of the same inner-cell channel exceeds a specified threshold value, the master terminal 1 selects a wireless channel with minimum interference level, out of one or more wireless channels that are not serving as inner-cell channels in the communication cell which the master terminal belongs to and the neighboring communication cells thereof. Then, the master terminal sets the selected wireless channel as the inner-cell channel of the communication cell which the master terminal belongs to.
