Disclosed are an image searching device and a method thereof. The image searching device according to an embodiment of the present invention may include an image receiving part which receives a search object image, an image processing part which detects the outline of the received search object image, and filters pixels of the outline based on a parameter related to the slope of the outline, and an image searching part which searches at least one image related to the search object image based on the filtered outline.
