Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for receiving a sound of a subject and an electronic device for implementing the same, and may include a method for receiving the sound generated from the subject in priority by checking the position of the subject. The method for receiving the sound of the subject according to the various embodiments of the present invention may include: an action of photographing a moving picture; an action of selecting at least one of subjects included in the photographed moving pictures; an action of acquiring motion information of the selected subject; and an action of adjusting a sound acquisition area on the basis of the acquired motion information of the subject.
