A footwear or orthotic sole that includes an outer sole and a footwear or orthotic device having an inner and an outer chamber, compartment or bladder, the outer having an uppermost surface curved concavely relative to an intended wearer's foot location. The inner and outer chamber, compartment or bladder are separated at least in part by an internal sipe formed by inner and outer surfaces that oppose each other and can move relative to each other in a sliding motion. The inner chamber, compartment or bladder includes at least two layers of flexible, resilient midsole material and at least a second internal sipe is formed by opposing surfaces of the layers of midsole material. |
