<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module whose volume and weight can be reduced by eliminating the provision of an airtightness ensuring member and an external short circuit preventing member, and which can be flexibly adapted to devices having various types of specifications. <P>SOLUTION: A casing (9) for batteries (C) constituting a laminated battery module (B) comprises: a positive electrode terminal member (3) and a negative electrode terminal member (5) each of which is made of a conductive plate; a frame member (7) made of an insulating material which is interposed between both terminal members (3 and 5) and forms an outer peripheral portion of the casing (9); and seal members (31) which are respectively interposed between the frame member (7) and the positive electrode terminal member (3), and the frame member (7) and the negative electrode terminal member (5). An outer peripheral portion of the frame member (7) is provided with a plurality of through-holes (37). A coupling member (1) inserted in the lamination direction through each of the through-holes couples the plurality of unit batteries (C) to one another, thereby constituting the battery module (B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
