<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle, which can be made small-sized with a simple structure and in which the deterioration of the performance of a rotation angle sensor can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU 12 is arranged between an electric motor 18 and a speed reduction mechanism 19. The ECU 12 includes a rotation angle sensor 55 for detecting the rotation angle of the electric motor 18. The rotation angle sensor 55 includes a detection magnet 56 rotating accompanying the rotation of the electric motor 18 and a magnetoelectric transducer 57 installed in a control substrate 67 of the ECU 12. A cover 68 held by a first housing prevents a space S1, between the opposed surfaces 56a, 57a of the detection magnet 56 and the magnetoelectric transducer 57, from communicating on the side of the speed reduction mechanism 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
