PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based white pigment fluid dispersion for ink jet recording in which titanium oxide having a heavy specific gravity is finely dispersed, high storage stability in which a precipitation prevention property and precipitation recoverability are improved is expressed, and an ink including the same expresses high stability and discharge stability.SOLUTION: A production method of a water-based white pigment fluid dispersion for ink jet recording comprises as follows. A pigment dispersant in which a water-soluble organic solvent is made a dispersion medium, and that is a carboxyl group inclusion A-B block copolymer including a methacrylate including an at least 6C aliphatic cyclic alkyl group and methacrylic acid as a forming component is used, titanium oxide is subjected to oily dispersion in the dispersion medium, then an obtained oiliness titanium oxide inclusion fluid dispersion is added by a mixture of alkali and water, thereby a carboxyl group of the methacrylic acid is neutralized and subjected to phase conversion, and an aqueous fluid dispersion in which titanium oxide is dispersed in a solution including the water-soluble organic solvent, the alkali, and water is obtained. |
