<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail measuring instrument with which the vertical and horizontal displacement of a rail can be measured by a single worker and it can also be measured even in a curved rail portion, and a rail measuring method. <P>SOLUTION: A rail measuring instrument 1 comprises a pair of rail fixing members 2 which are fixed on a rail R while being separated in an extension direction of the rail R, and a measuring member 3 which connects the pair of rail fixing members 2 to each other in a tensile state. The rail fixing member 2 includes a base 11 of which one terminal portion and another terminal portion are disposed toward a direction between the terminal portions and in which a measuring member lock groove 21 or hole is provided, and fixing means 31 which fixes the base 11 to the rail R. The measuring member 3 includes a pair of pins 61 which are inserted to the groove 21 or the hole and have lock parts 71 for locking the pins to positions of the insertion, and a linear body 81 which is connected between the pair of pins 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
