1. Apparatus comprising:
an automated banking machine configured to operate responsive at least in part to data read from data bearing records to cause financial transfers, including
at least one of
a card reader configured to read card data from user cards usable to identify financial accounts, anda wireless input device configured to receive mobile wireless data usable to identify user financial accounts from mobile wireless devices, a display, a cash dispenser, wherein the cash dispenser is configured to operate to selectively make cash stored within the machine accessible to users of the machine, at least one controller, wherein the at least one controller is configured to cause
a determination to be made that either card data read from a user card or mobile wireless data received from a mobile wireless device corresponds to a financial account upon which a transaction is authorized to be conducted through operation of the machine,responsive at least in part to the determination, the cash dispenser to dispense cash, wherein the dispensed cash has an associated value,the financial account to be assessed an amount corresponding to the value, and wherein the at least one controller is configured to cause encrypted data corresponding to the financial account to be sent to at least one remote computer that does not have transaction authorization or denial capability, wherein the at least one remote computer is configured to
calculate a number of transactions involving the financial account, andcause at least one alert message to be generated when the number exceeds a threshold. |
