发明名称 NOVEL GENE IBENOD93 AND TRANSGENIC PLANTS USING THE SAME
摘要 The present invention relates to a novel gene IbENOD93 and a transgenic plant using the same. More particularly, the present invention provides an IbENOD93 gene, an open reading frame (ORF) of the IbENOD93 gene, an IbENOD93 protein, a recombinant vector including the gene or the ORF, and a transformant transfected by the vector. In addition, the present invention provides a composition for enhancing the thickening growth of roots and promoting the premature growth of a plant having storage roots. Additionally, the present invention provides a method for producing a transgenic plant with an enhanced capability of thickening growth of the storage roots, and a method for controlling and promoting thickening growth and premature growth of storage roots of a plant having the storage roots. According to the present invention, the present invention promoted not only the thickening growth of storage roots of a plant but also the development of the storage roots. Therefore, the present invention can be effectively used for promoting the thickening growth of storage roots of high value root crops such as ginseng, sweet potatoes, etc. and producing a transgenic plant a user wants to prematurely grow.
