A seat occupancy determination apparatus includes first and second load sensors arranged at one end of a lower side of a seat in a width direction, and a first determination process portion monitoring a fluctuation of a load detected by the load sensors for a predetermined time in a state where a seat belt detection portion detects a disengagement state of a seat belt while an occupant seated state is determined by a determination portion, the first determination process portion determining a load decrease caused by a turning of the vehicle in a case where the fluctuation of the load exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the first determination process portion determining the load decrease caused by the occupant moving away from the seat and that the occupant is not seated on the seat in a case where the fluctuation is equal to or smaller than the predetermined threshold value. |
