<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle body capable of preventing generation of water leakage due to seal cutting from a seamed portion in a rain gutter and ensuring watertightness of a jointed portion in the rain gutter. <P>SOLUTION: Rain water dropped and gathered on a roof structure 4 is guided into a tubular body 8. A plate-like first standing section 20 is installed in a standing manner above a part of an upper end of the leader 6b and a through-hole 20a is formed in a thickness direction between one face and the other face of the plate-like first standing section 20. The tubular body 8 guides rain water into the leader 6b from the one face side of the plate-like first standing section 20 through the through-hole 20a. The tubular body 8 is welded from the other face side of the plate-like first standing section 20 and jointed to the plate-like first standing section 20 with molten and solidified weld metal 23. With such a structure, the tubular body 8 is prevented from becoming an obstacle to welding work and the welding work is inhibited from being restricted. Thus, watertightness of jointing can be ensured. In addition, the tubular body 8 is jointed to the plate-like first standing section 20 by the solidified weld metal 23 and hence water leakage due to seal cutting can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
