<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit that generates a stable output voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply circuit 1 has: a step-down circuit 2 for stepping down an input voltage VCC to generate an intermediate voltage VMM; a first booster circuit 3 for boosting the input voltage VCC to generate the intermediate voltage VMM; a second booster circuit 4 for boosting the input voltage VCC to generate a boosted voltage VPP that is higher than the input voltage VCC and the intermediate voltage VMM; and a power supply selection circuit 5 for outputting the input voltage VCC or the intermediate voltage VMM, whichever is higher, to the step-down circuit 2 as an operating power supply voltage VDD.
