The present invention relates to an exercise apparatus which uses a single rope to evenly and simultaneously ascend first and second coupling units, and thus maximizes exercising effects by enabling a patient to exercise in a balanced position. The exercise apparatus, according to the present invention, comprises: a main body including first and second opening units arranged on both sides of the exercise apparatus and a third opening unit arranged on the lower portion of the exercise apparatus; a rope arranged to penetrate the inside of the main body, and to which a supplementary device is coupled; a first main pulley arranged inside the main body to be adjacent to the first opening unit to support the rope; a second main pulley arranged inside the main body to be adjacent to the second opening unit to support the rope; and a sub-pulley arranged inside the main body to be adjacent to the third opening unit to support the rope according to an exercise mode. The rope includes: a first coupling unit arranged on one end of the rope to be exposed outwardly from the main body through the first opening unit; a second coupling unit arranged on one end of the rope to be exposed outwardly from the main body through the second opening unit; and a control unit arranged between the first and second coupling unit, wherein the rope is a single rope connecting to all three units including the first coupling unit, the second coupling unit and the control unit. |
