The present invention relates to a vehicle body of a double deck railway vehicle, and more specifically, to a vehicle body of a double deck railway vehicle wherein an under frame assembly and a side frame assembly which receive a relatively heavy weight are made of an aluminum extruded material, and a roof frame assembly and a second level floor frame assembly which receive a relatively light weight are made of a lightweight composite material to maintain hardness against a weight of a double deck railway vehicle and reduce a weight of a main body of the railway vehicle. The vehicle body of a double deck railway vehicle comprises: an under frame assembly; a pair of side frame assemblies formed on both ends of the under frame assembly in an upward direction; a roof frame assembly horizontally mounted on upper ends of the side frame assemblies; and a second level floor frame assembly horizontally mounted across middle portions of the side frame assemblies. The under frame assembly and the side frame assemblies are made of an aluminum extruded material, and the roof frame assembly and the second level floor frame assembly are made of a composite material.
