The present invention relates to a mobile communications terminal for changing location of application icons according to a place, and to a program stored in a medium for executing the method thereof. The mobile communications terminal moves and arranges at least one application icon, which can be utilized in a specific place when a terminal user is located in the specific place, to a search window of a portal site disposed on any one of a plurality of page screens. The mobile communications terminal comprises a wireless communications unit, a location positioning unit, a memory unit, a display unit, and a control unit which determines proximity between user location information and specific place location information generated by the location positioning unit, moves a location of one or more specific place recommendation application icons corresponding to one or more specific place recommendation applications into a portal site search window arranged in any one page from a plurality of page screens when the proximity between the user location information and the specific place location information is within a predetermined value, and receives one or more virtual application icons corresponding to one or more application items from an application providing server through the wireless communications unit so as to arrange the same in the portal site search window when one or more application items except the specific place recommendation applications stored in the memory unit exist in a specific place recommendation application list. |
